A precise definition of hemorrhoids perhaps does not exist, but they can be described as masses or clumps (“cushions”) of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels and the surrounding, supporting tissue made up of muscle and elastic fibers. Luckily there are viable treatments for hemorrhoids and in most cases they can be prevented. You could also just ignore your hemroid problem until it gets really bothersome. Many go this route, but it is not recommended. It’s fairly easy to treat and correct hemorrhoid problems at the outset.
